Write an essay that analyses Reclaiming Power and Place: The Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Reclaiming Power and Place will be your primary source and the essays in Research as Resistance will be your main secondary sources, but you may also draw from other sources of your choice, including the presentations by visitors to the classroom and any sources they may suggest. The main questions you should answer in your essay are: To what degree does Reclaiming Power and Place reflect a critical, anti-oppressive approach to research? How successful are its research methods and outcomes, and why? Does the report contribute to your understanding of research as resistance? If you choose just to hand it in once, it is due on the 5th Dec.
